Sandra Freijomil (Barcelona, 1975) has a degree in Philosophy from the Universitat de Barcelona. She has also studied Narrative and Novel at the writing school in the Ateneu Barcelonès.
She has won several short story awards such as the Mercè Rodoreda de Molins de Rei (2019-2020) and her blog was awarded as the best Villa de Lloret Literary Creation Blog 2019.
She published her first novel
La forma de las palabras in 2019. Her second novel,
Les mares no abandonen (Univers 2021), was awarded the 2020 Pollença Narrative Prize.
El jugador dislèctic (
The dyslectic player), La Campana, is the experiential account of a mother facing her son's dyslexia.
Deu dies amb la senyora Dalloway, (Edicions 62) is her last novel. A story that immerses the reader in the everyday life of a woman that suddenly explodes into a thousand bites.
