Asterisc Agents was born in 2016 from the infatigable curiosity of two literary agents dynamic in mind and innovative in spirit.
Since then, Asterisc has grown with permanent attention to detail without losing the essence that drives the project, and convinced that only with tenacious work, personal deferential contact and the tireless will of growth and improvement, any goal set can be reached.
Today, Asterisc Agents already has a carefully selected list of authors and foreign representations that consolidate and project the agency to the international market.
The authors who have trusted the agency have received awards and recognitions of first national level and their works do travel around the world, where they are being discovered by new readers from other latitudes. Attendance to international salons and book fairs (London, Guadalajara, Frankfurt, Bologna, Turin...) is the way for us to share our books and keep doing what we love and know how to do: to spread the passion for good stories next to its authors, the publishers who publish them and the readers who read them. I created Asterisc Agents in July 2016. I’ve been linked to the world of books and culture for as long as I can remember, and I like to define myself as a cultural agent. I’ve worked for twenty years in the publishing sector and since 2008 I’ve been working as a literary agent, a profession as peculiar as it is attractive.
I’m proud to have participated in the creation of the reading forum Què llegeixes, managing it and making it grow for over five years.
They say that reading feeds the soul but if the stomach is empty, the mind wanders, reading at a slant. This must be why, as an insatiable reader and gourmand, at time I unwind in the kitchen. My other passion? Teaching the trade which I’m now able to do as deputy director of the MA in Publishing, at the UPF Barcelona School of Management.

Partner of Asterisc Agents. I know the world of publishing from the two sides, the editorial and the agency, and it is a sector that continues to surprise me every day. A literary agent for the last 14 years, I love books but also those manuscripts that are yet to be books. I enjoy book fairs and sharing endless conversations with editors from here and there. I’m passionate about my trade. When I stop learning and enjoying myself, I’ll have to work out what I want to be when I’m old.
Now, if one day I can’t be found, look for me: a) tasting delicacies in Carlota’s kitchen b) having a beer on a terrace with friends c) resting from the everyday stress at my parents or being an auntie to Jingwen, d) travelling across the world with Javier, e) taking the bends with the most beautiful red motorbike.
