A family, five daughters and a changing country: the emotional story of the Molina family's new life in Barcelona in the midst of the turbulent history of the 20th century.

The Molina family, father, mother and five daughters, leaves their native Valencia to go to Barcelona, ​​to the Sants neighbourhood, where one of the father's brothers, Uncle Miguel, has already been living for some time.

The father works in the factory and the mother as a seamstress for a nearby tailor. The five daughters, Júlia, Pilar, Carme, Àngels and little Lola, grow up fully integrated into the neighbourhood. There they will experience major historical events, such as the advent of the Republic, the outbreak of war, the bombings and the hunger of the post-war period, but also the loves and heartbreaks of their age, the long-awaited dances of the Summer festivities, the film premieres and the life of associations.
