It is the story of Nicolau Comagran Serch, better known as the poet Nic Serch, a young man who returns to Mallorca after a failed literary career. In Mallorca, he starts working for his uncle at the Hotel Indira, a somewhat decadent establishment, which has belonged to his family since his grandfather’s time. This change of life will plunge him into a new world, presided over by old ghosts and the fascination about his family who will prove to be his rival in love and success.
The novel is above all a story of crazy love and discovery between Nico and Natàlia, a relationship marked by the past, by secrecy, by dissatisfaction, fatality and lies. Hotel Indira is a novel about the difficult acceptance of oneself, about the corruption and the pain of loss, about the need for consolation, about the tragedy of the limitations we are facing and about the ungovernable sorrows of life.
