In the previous post we talked about international or World Days and on May 17th, International Internet Day, we chose to read The Disconnected. What is happening with this book is amazing. And it is because now that we criticize teenagers for spending their days glued to screens (as if we adults don't), David Nel·lo's book invites them –and apparently also challenges them– to try it: how many days could you be without your cellphone? This is the question that some young students from a school in Pamplona have asked themselves and this has led them to do the test of locking their mobile phones in a box for a week: from Monday to Friday without cellphone! Spanish radio RTVE has broadcast the experience. Hopefully it's an experience that will be repeated in many other places after or while reading The Disconnected!

And you, how many days could you be without your cellphone?
