Melcior COMES, his mecanisms & the Coca's Shakespeare

We have good news this week! Melcior Comes, a young but published author from Mallorca, has joined the list of authors represented by Asterisc Agents and we are honored! Comes is an author with a dazzling literary career, with already few awards and a gritty list of titles. Accompanying authors like him in the publishing process here and everywhere will be a luxury. His latest novel, Tots els mecansimes ('All the Mechanisms'), will delight his fans and those who discover him for the first time. Yay!

The other good news is that Jordi Coca's latest novelty is out: El teatre de Shakespeare en el seu context ('Shakespeare's theater in its context'). An extraordinary reflection on Shakespeare's works that contextualizes today's reader in what the contemporaries of the English bard knew that we do not know today and that is essential to understand the theatrical complexity of the great playwrighter.
