Reading, writing and publishing are correlative activities, but in view of certain works this is not an axiom. Some seem to have started writing without having read much, and some give the impression of having published without having finished writing enough.
O no (Or Not) is a guide to writing good works or quitting. It talks about techniques and structures, lists resources, reveals some tricks and even quotes Aristotle. It encourages reading well before writing a lot, and discourages publishing for the sake of it, with brilliant examples.
Reading should be a silent exercise and generally free of exhibitionism. Writing too, although sometimes whims push us out. Publishing is already a totally extroverted, collective and noisy gesture. Reading, writing, publishing… or not.
